Tony is a Partner and CTO at This Partners and has a highly successful, 25 year track record of delivering transformation through IT Outsourcing.
With global roles at EDS and IBM, Tony developed a thorough knowledge of how outsource relationships develop and flourish. Tony has led the development, implementation and delivery of innovative, global technical solutions for key blue-chip IBM clients spanning multiple industries, including Diageo, Cable & Wireless and BP, covering early engagement and deal development through to transition, transformation and steady state operations. He understands that clients and service providers need to build successful relationships, not just contracts and technical solutions, to generate maximum business value.
At This Partners Tony has successfully supported deals in manufacturing, energy, finance, technology and retail from within the UK, US and Nordics. These have included all elements of IT scope, including cloud, and the contracting and implementation of XLAs (Experience Level Agreements). Tony often says, whilst in the thick of a deal, ‘we’ll get it done; we always do’ and he’s not been proved wrong yet. Bringing a desirable blend of commercial and technical knowledge, Tony excels at communicating complex messages in a clear and concise manner - from CxO to technician.
When not working, Tony is a bladesmith specialising in the forging of Japanese razors and knives, which, when you meet him, will explain the scars.
