Andy is a Founding Partner of This Partners and brings extensive knowledge of outsourcing, IT operations and IT transformation. Andy’s early career, at BSG, Fujitsu and PA Consulting, focused on ‘’fixing underperforming outsourcing’, leading major IT programmes across the Petrochemical, Financial Services and Risk Management sectors. Focusing on building strong, successful relationships, his refreshing, 'real world' approach to client issues enabled the swift identification of underperforming areas and their effective, innovative remediation.
After PA, Andy spent 6 years at leading oil giant BP and held strategic, programme and operational roles and was accountable for the transformation of BP’s IT Service Continuity capability and the implementation of a major Data Centre in London. Andy’s career at BP culminated with the successful programme management and delivery of an innovative $250m sourcing programme for BP’s Data Centre operations.
Since founding This Partners, Andy has led major global outsourcing programmes in the manufacturing, telecoms, energy, leisure and airline industry sectors, with a combined TCV in excess of $1bn. Andy’s insight and experience allows him to work effectively at all levels, especially with senior leaders, helping them to refine and hone complex ideas into realisable strategy which can be effectively executed. His professional passion is building exceptional relationships between client and service provider.
Outside of work, Andy enjoys spending time with his family and acting as CFO to manage countless non-budgeted demands on the family finances, typically in the form of Lego or football boots. To relax, he enjoys tinkering with classic cars and DIY.
